Filming this Weekend

Hey team, hope everything is going well in scholarly land. This weekend is our big Library Promo film shoot for Scott Pilgrim vs. The Library (still need to change that title). There has been a change of plans, instead of doing a night shoot, we are now going to do a day shoot because the library closes at 8pm on Fri/Sat. So what is going to happen is we’re all going to meet up at St. Pats at 1pm on Friday. We’re then going to film all the way till 8pm. Saturday we will start again around the same time. Now I know some of you might have class or work, so don’t worry if you can’t come right at 1pm. Just drop by whenever, we’ll be in the library, and can always use more hands. Then on Saturday night when we’re finished, you’re all invited to my place for the Wrap Party.

If you have any questions feel free to email us. NOTICE: If you have a DORM ROOM and am willing to provide it on Saturday for the opening scene, please let us know.

Finally if you have any problems or concerns and want to get in contact with us on Friday or Saturday my phone number is 613-875-2867, feel free to call or send me a text.

Hope to see everyone on Friday.

Peter.

And so it begins

Hey gang, so this week we are beginning work on pre-production for our library promos. We’ll be going over the rough script for Scott Pilgrim vs. The Library, brainstorming some ideas, and doing some planning. Then we are going to watch the classic 1970 heist film Le Cercle Rouge by Jean-Pierre Melville. As long as I can find it at the video store or else we’re watching whatever Peter can pull off his shelve at home. The film is a little long but it’s also a little good (and by a little, I mean a lot).

So make sure to come on down. Even if you haven’t made it to the last couple meetings this is a good time to get caught up on what’s happening. These next two weeks are important if you want to help out filming and get some production experience.

Friday at 6:00, 400 St. Pats (Except if someone steals our room again)

Peter.
